Mississippi Fred McDowell had a haunting style of playing slide guitar which this song certainly shows. It's one of my favorite tunes to play whenever I perform and I think you'll truly enjoy it. In what they call 'Vestapol Tuning' which is more commonly known as Open D - DADAF#D - this tuning was used by many guitarists in the Mississippi Delta.
